On the Trail to the Cinque Terre (Liguria)
Spring 2026
A journey through Eastern Liguria, on the edge of the Cinque Terre National Park.
We will walk along the Sentiero Verde Azzurro, passing through villages such as Monterosso, Vernazza, Bonassola, Framura, and Moneglia.
We’ll stay in Levanto, in a historic hotel in the town center, just steps from the beach.
The program includes wine and local product tastings, a pesto-making workshop, and a visit to Montaretto — a village off the beaten tourist paths.
An experience for those who love walking and discovering Liguria at a slow pace, away from the crowds and outside the high season.

⋯ Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival
→ Meeting point: Wednesday, October 22, in the center of Levanto (SP). Google Maps link provided.
→ Free time to explore the town center.
→ Dinner at a local restaurant, trip briefing, and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2 – From Bonassola to Framura
→ Highlights: The trail climbs through olive groves and pine woods to reach Salto della Lepre, a panoramic viewpoint over the sea. Along the way, we pass a small ancient chapel perched above the water and the charming village of Montaretto. Our day ends in Framura with a wine and local product tasting and a visit to the vineyards.

Day 3 – From Levanto to Vernazza
→ Highlights: Starting along Levanto’s seaside promenade, we walk past Villa Agnelli and ascend to Punta Mesco, stopping at the Hermitage of Sant’Antonio. From there, we descend to Monterosso for a short visit to the first village of the Cinque Terre. The hike continues through terraced vineyards until reaching Vernazza, dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the sea.

Day 4 – From Riva Trigoso to Moneglia
→ Highlights: Shortly after departure, we reach the Tower of Punta Baffe, a former coastal watchtower. The path alternates between sea views and shaded stretches through the Vallegrande. After a scenic section among gorse and pine trees, we descend into colorful Moneglia, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Day 5 – Departure
→ Relax on the beach, stroll through Levanto’s town center, check-out, and farewells.
Optional: independent visit to a nearby town (the Guide can suggest an itinerary)
