Cinque Terre & Beyond Walking Tour
5 days, 4 nights, 3 walking stages
A journey through Eastern Liguria, on the edge of the Cinque Terre National Park.
We will walk along the Sentiero Verde Azzurro, passing through villages such as Levanto, Montaretto, Bonassola, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia. We stay in Levanto, in a historic hotel in the town center, just steps from the beach. The program includes wine and local product tastings and a visit to Montaretto, a village off the beaten tourist paths.

⋯ Itinerary
Day 1 / Arrival and visit
→ Meeting point: Levanto town centre (SP).
→ Free time to explore the town.
→ Dinner at a local restaurant, briefing and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 / walking day - Levanto > Local winery > Montaretto > Bonassola > Levanto
→ Highlights: The trail climbs through olive groves and pine woods to Salto della Lepre, a viewpoint over the sea. Along the way, we stop at a small local winery for a wine tasting and a visit to the vineyards, planted on steep terraces. We then continue to the village of Montaretto and down to the beach in Bonassola. Those who want to continue to Levanto can walk through the tunnels of the old railway line.

Day 3 / walking day - From Monterosso > Vernazza > Corniglia
→ Highlights: Starting from Monterosso, we walk along the well-known Sentiero Verde Azzurro in the Cinque Terre National Park. The trail runs between vineyard terraces and Mediterranean vegetation, with open views over the sea. We finish in Corniglia, the only one of the five villages built on a cliff rather than directly by the sea.

Day 4 / walking day - Punta Mesco loop (Levanto > Punta Mesco > Levanto)
→ Highlights: Starting from Levanto’s seaside promenade, we walk past Villa Agnelli and climb to Punta Mesco, stopping at the Hermitage of Sant’Antonio. From there, we descend towards Levanto on the other side of the promontory. The second part follows a quiet, less travelled path, partly through the woods. It ends in a valley, where a small stream runs beside the trail on the way back to Levanto.

Day 5 / Relax and departure
→ Time to relax on Levanto’s beach or walk through the town centre, followed by check-out and farewells.
Optional: independent visit to a nearby town. The guide can suggest an itinerary.
